Description
I'm very happy with this one. Like most of the mixes I've posted, I've worked on them before AI, but was never satisfied enough to share it. Though this was recorded in 1946, I believe it was pre-magnetic-tape for France, so her vocals were still muddy. I managed to manufacture the highter frequencies, hopefully she isn't too compressed, I did my best to go back and re-balance the volume. For the instrumental, I used AI to separate the parts, mixed them back together, then preserved the lower frequencies and compressed the higher frequencies, then removed reverb. My big gripe is the audio enhancement brought out a lot of breaths from the horn players, but If I remove it I lower the quality.

Music by Louiguy with lyrics by Édith Piaf
Music performed by Guy Luypaerts' orchestra with vocals by Édith Piaf on 9 October 1946, supposedly at Columbia Records in Paris, France though I don't know which building.
Photo taken on 2 April 1946 for the film "Étoile sans lumière," with her then lover, Yves Montand, whom was probably her inspiration.
Shoutout to Eckhard Büttner, whom also did a very good mix:
