Description
Although a simpe Dabke song it has a story in it that many Lebanese can relate too and has a deep meaning to it.
This song is about when a Lebanese expatriate leaves his village for a better life he adapts to the urban society in the worse way although richer, he begins to become bitter but thinks his life now more ''superior'' to that of his humble Lebanese village. Sick of the hectic corporate word he visits his village and meets his loves ones, but realizes aswell that many just like him no longer live there since they are now "expatriates" and that makes him sad yet its a normality to that of the Lebanese.
He recieves a warm and sincere welcome that of which he knows does not exist elswhere,
and realizes that he no longer wants to be an expatriate since that has brought wealth yet pain that cannot be compensated.
He wants to stay in Lebanon and worship its soil he learns that people should be grateful for things he has and be closed to the ones they love and live a blissful life.
