Honestly I’ve played this song so so many times since I first heard it ten years ago. It’s one of those songs that foreigners hear in Korea and instantly get into, then get a bit puzzled when they hear most Koreans aren’t aware of it.

Anyway I’ve played it so many times at so many shows that it felt redundant to record it for this channel… there are a few other corners of youtube with videos of me playing it over the years! I’ve also played it so much that I find myself overthinking and ‘overplaying’ it these days. That’s always a risk, you play something so much that it becomes muscle memory or conscious effort to emphasize parts of the song instead of letting instinct and heart express themselves naturally.

For this recording though I just started playing without thinking and just let it come out without forcing it. It’s a very laid back version, not the best, but there’s some honesty I think. So I’lo leave it here, maybe it’s the last time I’ll play this song.
