Description
Hello players, for the best results, it's super important to make sure your quality settings are set to the highest resolution. Then you can click on full screen or cast to your big screen for a better viewing experience. After some basic fundamentals, your practical experience while having fun is paramount. Even after you've learned some chords, If you're not having fun then you'll probably never be any good either. These people are the ones that give up too soon. I want to reach these people before this happens.
First off, Thanks to YouTube and all the artists/owners for allowing me to share the channel. I fully understand that I don't have any monetary rights to the music, that's a given, but I wouldn't have started this endeavor if their wasn't something in it for me. It started out as a personal backup after my PC crashed. Then after some time and consideration, I went public to help new players keep interested and still have fun. I know the struggles with poor and incomplete tabs, the constant searching, and especially for the new players - testing can be super frustrating, because you think that you're the one that's playing it wrong and not the tab, it's no fun. Having a tested "one click and go" method, you'll put in more effort into your daily practice, hearing and knowing that you're getting better each time. you play it.
Even though my channel is "like a baseball sized rock in a vast universe" I'm still glad I started it years ago. Learning guitar without a teacher is harder than most instruments. I'm sorry for those who think the channel is for absolute beginners. However, There is nothing too complex here. There are so many mentors and videos out there for free to help you get started. Hopefully, you already know a little bit. These are the people who gave up too quickly. Most of us just don't have the time, or will live long enough to ever reach "guitar hero" status. It's okay, you don't make it a competition, you still have time to have fun. As they say, "it never hurts to learn more songs" it's true, that can be where the fun is... if I fit into your musical likes, I have plenty here for you to learn and practice.
I give thanks to all of the people who's work I have chosen to edit, when I'm not starting from scratch. I'm very grateful for the time and effort you have saved me. I do test every song the best I can. I won't fix what's not broken and I don't regurgitate songs for clicks. I appreciate that you shared your transcription work and know that I will be doing the same.
Repetition is the major part of practice, and practice is the key factor to playing better. When you get enough experience you probably seek out other players to play with, it's just a lot more fun. Whatever your goals my be moving forward. If you're willing to learn the foundation. How much you work on one particular thing is up to you. We all have our own likes and reasons for learning something. I do what works for me and pass it along to you and it doesn't cost you anything so why not try it.
Playing or replaying in many cases, you will be supporting the rightful owners. I hope that it gives you piece of mind. So if you are able to, I ask that you purchase these songs (where ever you buy your music) because without these artists, life would be rather boring with not much to play.
I post whatever and whenever to my channel. Feel free to comment, say hello or whatever is on your mind. I hate to ask, but when you do noticed that the channel is helping you play better, I really hope you will subscribe. I need this support to grow. Although the channel maybe far from perfect, I do very much appreciate your subscription and involvement. Thanks for reading all this, I know it's a lot. I will continue to post new songs and I hope that you'll stick around to play them. So welcome, my name is Rob, living North of Toronto in Ontario Canada. Reach out to me with what ever comes to mind. I'm easy going and I'll do what I can to keep this channel going.
