Zhu Jian’er: "Festival Overture"
"Festival Overture" (1958) is the first orchestral work composed by Mr. Zhu. It was premiered in Moscow, and was collected by the State Radio of the former Soviet Union as a permanent recording repertoire. Later, it was performed by orchestras in Germany, Japan, Norway, etc. Zhu's works always share a strong national characteristics.
