When I first heard "Gods and Monsters", I thought it was written just for the show. Turns out its an excellent cover. Jessica Lange did a great job covering Lana Del Rey.

While writing my own arrangement, I thought of these two whirlpools: Elsa Mars and Dandy Mott. We've got Elsa, with her consuming need for fame. We've got Dandy, who deeply desires to belong in the freak show. And their actions drive everyone else's. If you wonder how, you'll have to watch American Horror Story.
