However, many composers turned down the opportunity, as it was a "little" movie with almost no budget at the time. Talia Shire, who played Adrian, had a husband who was offered the role, but ultimately, Bill Conti became the composer.

Rocky, played by Sylvester Stallone, inspired audiences—listening to this song while watching him train made them believe that maybe there was hope for him to win.

He later contributed to subsequent Rocky soundtracks. Eye of the Tiger wasn’t his song, but it was later used in the series.
