I performed on this night two years ago at the Bataclan with Marillion. It was a magical night of music in my memory, surrounded by joyful music fans and great vibes.

On this weekend of mourning, I stand with the good people of Paris in this tragic time where so much evil has been visited upon them.
For weeks now, I have been playing this song thinking of all the refugees around the world and how these lyrics fit that theme. Tonight it seems to be written for all those who have suffered this weekend--Parisians and all of us who watch on in horror, helpless.

May we all sing songs of solidarity for our French brothers and sisters tonight. And thanks to U2, who were to be performing Saturday night, but had to cancel. I would love to hear you guys play this one when you return.
