On this auspicious day presenting one of the finest songs in the world on a father and daughter’s sweet relation. The lyrics (Pulak Banerjee), composition (V Balsara) and the rendition by Hemanta Mukherjee and Sravanti Majumdar makes it an all-time classic. Originally released as a Puja album by Sravanti Majumdar in 1976 on HMV. Digging out my old and over-played cassette (for this song) for this classic. The sound quality deteroits at the later part of the song, but I hope more importantly the song in this audio cassette format rekindles your old memories and emotions attached with this song and the bygone era of listening music on audio cassettes.
