Áine Minogue was born in Borrisokane, County Tipperary, and began playing the harp at an early age. She developed her talent as a harpist, singer and composer by studying and performing in Ireland and now lives in the United States. In addition to recording and producing fourteen solo albums including Celtic Lamentations and Celtic Meditation Music and In the Name of Stillness, she has contributed to numerous soundtracks and compilations, with recordings for PBS, Sony, Virgin Records, Warner Bros & Universal.
