Often compared to fellow banjo prodigy Bela Fleck, Brown holds the honor of International Bluegrass Music Association's Banjo Player of the Year. A three-time GRAMMY Award winner, she has toured with Alison Krauss and Michelle Shocked and is the driving force of Nashville's indie label, Compass Records.
