Earlier this year, state51 headed to the Azores to capture the 10th edition of Tremor Festival.
We had the pleasure of partnering with Lovers & Lollypops to film performances from the artists on Tremor’s eclectic line-up, along with a special performance for Tremor na Estufa: a series of surprise concerts held throughout the festival in secret locations across the island.
Taking place on the island of São Miguel, the largest of the Azorean archipelago, the festival is a celebration of global experimental arts and nature - focusing on the relationship between the two within the context of the Azores’ rich history. Spectators are invited to discover new artists, the island itself, and learn more about the different communities that call the island home.
