Description

This is the tenth song from the musical Angel Voices by Roger Jones. This song features Jesus singing to each and every one of us: 'Here I stand, at the door and knock.'

This is taken from a single camera recording of the premiere of the musical filmed at Birmingham Town Hall in the autumn of 1993. Starring Mike Stanley as Jesus, Peter Johns as John, Gloria Close as Angel 1, Kathleen Owen as Angel 2, Debra Collins as Angel 3 and Ann Parkin as Satan. The choir of 200 singers was conducted by Roger Jones, and the musical is narrated by Alison Fuggle. The musical is based upon themes from the book of Revelation.
