In this music and movement song by @Heather_Feather_childrensmusic, I've got ANTS IN MY PANTS Eek! Let's see if we can SHAKE THEM OUT! This is a silly song about ants being in different articles of clothing. We also learn about rhymes and see the spelling of the words. We shake and dance and get all the ants out, but there's also a social-emotional lesson here for older children: if someone is bothering you or a friend is being mean, instead of trying a lot of short-term solutions, have a chat. Ask why. You might get a surprising answer that makes you realize that if you had've asked earlier, you would've saved yourself a lot of time and trouble. Let's always remember to use our words to communicate and solve our problems instead of avoiding them, like me moving the ants to different pieces of clothes. Sometimes a big problem is a simple misunderstanding between two friends!
