I'm excited to post my first Italian song - Azzurro (Versione Malinconia)!

Dedicato a Chiara, Barbara, i miei insegnanti Aronese e i miei compagni studenti di lingua italiana😁! Grazie a Greta per megliolare i pronuncia.

I wanted to put my own spin on this 1968 hit by Adriano Celentano, making a slow version, all stripped down and melancholy. My idea was to capture the true essence of the lyrics.. feeling blue in the summer time.

"Azzurro" is an Italian pop song composed by Paolo Conte and Vito Pallavicini. Its most famous version was recorded by Adriano Celentano in 1968.

This song has been covered by numerous Italian singers, like Mina, Gianni Morandi and Fiorello. The Italian football national team has also sung the song on one occasion.

German covers were done by Peter Rubin, Die Toten Hosen, Peter Alexander and Rummelsnuff. French cover by Régine. Spanish cover by Gabinete Caligari.
