Description

The Barbatuques, a reference group in Body percussion, produces organic music using the body as a musical instrument. Melodies and different rhythms are created using voice effects and exploration of sounds produced by the human body: hand clapping, cracks, beats, hands and feet, all in tune. The result is amazing.

Involving and contagious, the group's presentations provide a unique experience by this competent combination of rhythms, sounds and movements, besides the group's scenic presence. The repertoire includes its own compositions, adaptations, improvisations and interactions with the audience.
