Barry White's music, whether his vocal songs or the music of his Love Unlimited Orchestra, was incredible and was integral part of the music of the '70s. And, of course, lives on decades later.

I have already posted the instrumentals "Love's Theme" and "Satin Soul" from Love Unlimited, but obviously his vocal tunes were magnificent as well. And for those who love his vocal tunes, they will have a favorite, usually one of his sensuous love songs.

For me, though, it is clear. When I think of Barry White, I think of love music, of course. But what I think of more is..... music!! Barry White was music!! That is why there was a Love Unlimited Orchestra. There is no question that Barry White loved love. But it was music that changed his life, that gave him life and that was his life.

And every time I hear original long version of "Let Music Play", what I hear is a man expressing his love for music!! With his rich vocals and spoken word, accompanied by the lush sounds of his orchestra.

To me, there is no greater Barry White song, no better song to represent him!!
