We are the Oriental Twins and this video is our first attempt at translating a Haitian song into English. We did our best to translate the exact words of the artists, Bedjine and K-Dilak. In areas where we paraphrased or provided the meanings of some of their words, we used parentheses and brackets. Though we thoroughly edited and reviewed this video over the course of three plus days, we apologize in advance for any errors and are open to respectful and necessary translations in the comments. We realized that no one else, at least from our searches, was translating Haitian artist songs to English and wanted to help promote amazing Haitian music since we are already teaching Haitian-Creole on our page.
