This track is one of those not entirely unusual Louisiana items which just seems to transcend genre boundaries. The artist, Belton Richard is a cajun accordionist and singer but this isn't a cajun song. It's closer to zydeco and, indeed is a re-working of a Clifton Chenier number. The rhythm, however, is more of a Texas two-step. What the heck, it sounds good & that's all that matters.

The track comes from the "Another Saturday Night" collection put out by Ace Records (UK) which itself was an expansion of the original Charlie Gillett Louisiana selection first put out in 1974.
