I recalled this song as I was listening to Bill's recent album, "Straight From The Heart," which is devoted to country songs. "Wasn't That You Last Night?" is a Bill Medley composition that I think is unfairly unknown, as it has a memorable melody, good lyrics, and Bill sings it beautifully. This song appeared on his 1978 country-style LP, "Lay A Little Lovin' On Me,” the album with the red shirt!
