Billy Cobham and his Spectrum 40 Band visited here early in 2013. Featuring the violinist, Jerry Goodman, well-known from his days performing alongside Cobham in with John McGlaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra in the Seventies and helping to define the term, "jazz-fusion," the band featured an all-star cast that could simply flat-out play. Cobham, a veteran of bands comprising legendary stars from Miles Davis to Bob Weir, is arguably and easily one of the world's finest drummers, an iconic musician looked up to by generations of percussionists and the drummer of choice of many stars. It's easy to see why, as here he is on January 12th, 2013 performing the well-known composition, "Quadrant 4" from his groundbreaking album, "Spectrum."
