From either side of the North Sea these four musicians meet.

With Bohus music as the focus, this is a unique mix of folk music from western Sweden, Scotland, the Shetland Islands and Norway, which turns into a North Sea brew of tunes and songs.

Together they create a new unique sound through their own way of colouring the music with these influences, individual style and instrumentation.

Individually they all have extensive musical experience.

They have all released several critically acclaimed CDs and have toured extensively for many years in different constellations such as Huldrelokkk, Hemållt, Kultiration, Goodland trio, Agrin, Fiddlers' Bid, Boys of the Lough, Session A9, The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc and Aamos.

Blå fålen play as a duo, trio and as a full band.
