We all have a "Blue Bayou" - that nostalgic longing at times for the people and places that make us feel at home. In this video, Mary Beth Anthony captures the feeling of "old times" and heart warming memories of this song that she has been singing since she was a teenager.

This video was shot on 9/25/21 in Nashville,TN. "Blue Bayou," was written by Roy Orbison (the original artist) & Joe Melson 1961. It became a top hit by Linda Ronstadt in 1977. Mary Beth put her creative interpretation of "Blue Bayou" into the production, and re-recorded this beautiful song in the Fall of 2020 at various studios in Nashville,TN. Very Special THANKS to musicians Jeff, Brian F., Lindsey, Mike, Dennis, the late Jeff Lisenby and BGV's, Andriana S. and David Andrew (The Voice 2022) - this was a gift!

Tremendous appreciation to the late Roy Orbison and Joe Melson for writing such a beautiful song that the world has embraced AND great appreciation to Linda Ronstadt for her incomparable vocals and musical talent that no one can replace!
