Big Spike Hammer - written by Bobby Osborne and Pete Goble - was made famous by the Osborne Brothers in 1966 with the release of their classic album Up This Hill And Down on the Decca label.
The number was also featured on the Bluegrass Album vol 3 - aka The California Connection. Here is
