Probably the best ever version of Birdland played by Buddy and the band. He had just recovered from a lfe threatening operation and was back on the road. This was shortly before his untimeley death in 1987. The song is a masterclass in drumming and we will never see a drummer of his class and style again. I met him twice and what a lovely guy he was too!! I have the full concert in suberb quality if anyone wants a copy then please get in touch.
