Happy New Year, everyone!
I spent the last day of the old year with working on this new song and video. It took me ages to record something new as I am having a long-lasting cold, but I decided to have enough of it!
This time of the year is very spiritual and I often feel the gates to the otherworld are open. It's the time where I feel a perfect connection between good childhood memories, magical moments, Jesus, warmth, fairies and the little folk, Mother Hulda and fairy tales, as well as spirits in general.
That's why I don't celebrate with loud fire works (even if my neighbours do) but go inside in the yin-phase of the year. Darkness guards the hidden, the unconscious, and I like to bring it forth around this time.
Are there people that you remember sometimes? What is the old that can teach you something? How can we do things better?
Whose heart did we touch in our life? Who touched ours? Did we hurt someone? Can we silently or directly ask them for forgiveness?

I ended many relationships in the last year that have accompanied me for a long time but felt unhealthy and ready to be let go of. But also one friend came back. And that was quite a miracle. And she asked me something that is part of this song.
"Did you feel how I talked to your soul in all these years? Did I bother you? I often talked to you and I really would like to know if you sensed it!"
It's interesting how we all know how to talk to someone even when they are absent. Yes, I had dreams with her in them. But I was still too hurt and angry to reach out. It needed a striking "coincidence", but the moment I had it, I knew exactly what to do!

Another story is this: a month ago or so, I bought me this electronic candle. You switch it off by moving a button. Long story short, it started to be turned on by something at night. Nothing is wrong with the mechanism of this candle, but I knew instantly that someone wanted to talk to me, as the night before it happened we talked about real ghost (positive) stories. So, I wrote this song.
I often feel our often hidden soul memories are like a network. Our loved ones have an eternal bond to us that cannot be severed, not even by physical or spiritual distance or other dimensions. Most of us though have forgotten to feel and sense these eternal bonds, and even misinterpret them with our anxiety and attachment. The line is fine.
