Join me for some "black metal ambient" on acoustic guitar. This one is from the album "Burzum" and was also featured in another version on "Draugen - Rarities". The original is an excellent and deeply hypnotic electronic song. I don't know what synthesizer Varg Vikernes used but it does sound a lot like one of the patches on the Korg Polysix, which is an amazing vintage synth.
I was inspired to record this video after reading how Varg Vikernes supposedly wished to absorb the powers accumulated in churches by burning them down.
This church was built in the 1200's. They used part of a runestone for the walls.
