The Pacific Coast Highway 1 is one of the great drives in the world. At 656 miles long (1056km) it runs from Monterey to Los Angeles, California. The most famous portions of the road trip run through Big Sur, Monterey, and Carmel by the Sea with famous stops at the Bixby Bridge, McWay Falls, Garapata State Park, and of course the towns of Big Sur and Pebble Beach.
