Delhi Traffic Police, Google Maps to Mark Capital’s ‘Black Spots’
The Delhi Traffic Police is working with Google Maps to flag the city’s most accident-prone stretches. The plan will mark these “black spots” directly on the app, giving drivers on-the-go warnings as they approach. Officials say the alerts, based on years of crash data, could roll out in 2025 as part of a push to blend road safety with technology.

Microsoft Debuts Copilot 3D for Easy Model Creation
Microsoft has unveiled Copilot 3D, a new AI-powered tool that turns ordinary images into 3D models. Part of the company’s Copilot Labs, the feature is aimed at making 3D creation faster and more accessible for experimenting, learning, or prototyping without the steep learning curve of traditional software. Copilot 3D is currently free for a limited group of users.

Nvidia, AMD to Share China Chip Revenue with U.S.
Nvidia and AMD will hand over 15% of revenue from certain chip sales in China to the U.S. government under a new agreement. The arrangement covers advanced processors, including Nvidia’s H20 chip, used in AI applications. Washington had blocked H20 sales to China in April but has since begun granting licenses for resumed exports.

Apple Prepares iOS 26 Launch with ChatGPT-5 Integration
Apple will roll out iOS 26 for supported iPhone models next month, bringing a host of upgrades and new AI features. The update will include integration of OpenAI’s GPT-5 model into Apple Intelligence, promising smarter and more capable on-device tools. GPT-5 will also arrive on iPads with iPadOS 26 and Macs with macOS Tahoe 26 as part of the same release window.

WhatsApp Adds New Tools to Status Updates
WhatsApp is expanding its Status feature with four additions designed to give users more creative options. The update includes photo stickers, fresh layout designs, an “Add Yours” prompt, and an improved “More with Music” tool. One standout change is the revamped Layout option, which lets people build collages directly in the app. Meta says the features are rolling out gradually and should reach all users in the coming months.
