Description

At last, some love for the baritones out there! Maurice Ravel's charming song cycle "Don Quichotte à Dulcinée" composed in 1932, with poetry by Paul Morand. This piece was commissioned for a cinematic rendition of "Don Quixote" but Ravel was unable to complete it in time due to his failing health and became one of his final compositions. "Chanson à boire" is the third piece in the cycle; this is the piano accompaniment only, performed here in the original key for Low Voice.
