Description

At last, some love for the baritones out there! Maurice Ravel's charming song cycle "Don Quichotte à Dulcinée" composed in 1932, with poetry by Paul Morand. This piece was commissioned for a cinematic rendition of "Don Quixote" but Ravel was unable to complete it in time due to his failing health and became one of his final compositions. "Chansom épique" is the second piece in the cycle; this is the piano accompaniment only, performed here in the original key for Low Voice.
