Rick Cooper • just a lyricist. Based upon my West Third Avenue days in 1977, but I didn't write the lyrics until my birthday in 1985. The song originally had 6 verses. John Schwab cut 3 verses, wrote the melody, and recorded the song on his 1990 "Crack of Dawn" CD.
