Several years ago, my friend @adamezragroup was hanging out at my house. We were sitting around the fire pit, making s’mores with my kids and listening to music on a Bluetooth speaker. Adam says to me, “You wanna hear one of the best songs ever?” I was like, “Of course!” He then played “Silver Thunderbird." by Marc Cohn. I’d never heard it before and it blew me away instantly. A year or so later, I was letting my son, Aden, choose music for one of our family road trips. I was pleasantly surprised when, out of the blue, he chose “Silver Thunderbird”. He recalled the evening when my barefoot, long-haired, hippie friend from Boston let us hear it by the fire and said he had been listening to it ever since. It brought a huge smile to my face. To me, that’s what good music does. It’s sticks with us. It melds with our memories of friends, family, and loved ones. So here’s my rendition of one of my favorite songs ever and I hope it sticks with you. Thanks for introducing the Smith’s to this one Adam! Hope y’all enjoy.
