ABOUT
Celestial Park is the central hub and thematic heart of Universal’s Epic Universe, designed as both a gathering space and a launch point to the park’s four main lands—Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Guests enter through The Chronos, a massive, mysterious portal device that opens gateways to these worlds. The area is filled with lush gardens, shimmering fountains, and celestial-inspired architecture, drawing on themes of astrology, mythology, and cosmic exploration. By day, Celestial Park is a serene and beautiful space; by night, it transforms into a dazzling spectacle, with around seven million embedded LED lights creating a nightly light-and-music ceremony symbolizing Apollo handing the torch to Luna, often accompanied by fireworks. The area’s attractions include Stardust Racers, a high-speed dual-launch racing coaster with a unique “Celestial Spin” element; Constellation Carousel, a reimagined ride featuring illuminated animal figures that rise up to six feet; and Astronomica, an interactive water-play area shaped like a giant cosmic compass. Dining options range from Atlantic, a fine-dining seafood restaurant set in a glass-encased Victorian-style aquarium, to The Blue Dragon, a colorful Pan-Asian eatery, alongside quick-service spots like Pizza Moon, Frosty Moon, Meteor Astropub, and The Oak & Star Tavern. Live entertainment takes place at the Hemisphere Stage, offering creative musical performances, while roaming “Celestians” and interactive characters bring the park’s lore to life. As the gateway and connective tissue of Epic Universe, Celestial Park blends immersive storytelling, standout attractions, dining, and atmospheric beauty, setting the tone for the adventures ahead.

Universal’s Epic Universe is a massive new theme park at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, officially opened on May 22, 2025. Spanning about 750 acres, it’s Universal’s third theme park and the most significant expansion in the resort’s history, marking the first major U.S. theme park debut in more than 25 years. The park is built around five immersive lands, with Celestial Park serving as the central hub that connects to four themed worlds: Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Each land offers unique attractions, dining, and entertainment, from AR-enhanced rides in Super Nintendo World to monster-themed thrills in Dark Universe, magical adventures in the Ministry of Magic, and family-friendly dragon experiences in Berk. Epic Universe incorporates cutting-edge technology, including trackless ride systems, augmented reality, and immersive storytelling across more than 50 attractions. It’s also home to three new hotels—the Helios Grand Hotel, Stella Nova Resort, and Terra Luna Resort—designed to extend the themed experience beyond the park. With an estimated \$7 billion investment, Epic Universe is Universal’s most ambitious project to date, aiming to set a new standard for theme park design and deliver a highly immersive, story-driven experience for guests.
