Description
In a call to arms for alternative rock and punk lovers everywhere, the E’ville Experience released a single capturing the tension and anger in our country (USA). Indie rock song, “Dare Me”, is part of a larger EP out November 20, 2020. Rose Gonzales’ belting vocals are balanced by Nick Banuelos’ distortion-laced guitars in this song that demands attention.
If there is a soundtrack for the revolution, this is the track to add. Keeping in mind the band’s influences from artists like Paramore, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Meg & Dia, Producer Bill Snyder III mixed the track to elevate the immediacy of the lyrics.
Rose (lead vox) directs this music video with Cinematographer Desire Lacap filming and editing everything you see.

Lyrics by Rose Gonzales
There is something coming
The air is too thick to ignore
In my lungs I feel it
Smoke swirls all reveal it
The signs were clear and painful
I was told what was in store
The fight was over and done
But who decides the final outcome?
'Cause there's something wrong here
We can feel it in the air
Breathing in your poison
You can't pretend it isn't there
Tell me I can't do anything,
I say dare me, dare me, dare me
Tell me that you can’t be beat
Why don't you dare me, dare me, dare me
I'm backed into a corner
But it's fine, you want me there
You act as my defender
To lull me to my surrender
I can see right through you
But you really don't care
You see the truth in my face
Your tricks can't make that go away
Cause there's something wrong here
We can feel it in the air
Breathing in your poison
So stop pretending it isn't there
Tell me I can't do anything,
I say dare me, dare me, dare me
Tell me that you can’t be beat
Why don't you dare me, dare me, dare me
Tell me I can't do anything,
I say dare me, dare me, dare me
Tell me that you can’t be beat
Why don't you dare me, dare me, dare me
