Back in 2005, I released my rendition of Darkness Darkness on the Fire in the Stone album. It’s a cover of The Youngbloods’ iconic 60s hit, but I gave it my own unique twist. Before recording it, I found myself listening to the song and reflecting on how much I’ve always loved it. As I imagined the vibe, a vivid picture came to mind—dancing and sipping a beer, surrounded by the glow of firelight. I envisioned Native Americans adorned in feathers, dancing rhythmically by the fire, their energy alive in the night.

This imagery inspired the video I created for the song. In it, I’m not dancing, but instead sitting on a stone, mesmerized by the fire’s warmth and light—just soaking it all in. I hope you enjoy this visual take on Darkness Darkness!
