Her son - Wes, was observed having a shower when deputy Judy Hicks left to get dinner. From the photos to the editing, this scene effectively imitates the infamous shower scene with Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's movie. If viewers weren't aware enough, Ghostface phones Judy and inquires as to whether or not she has watched the movie Psycho, making it abundantly plain what is happening.
