A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR
When this was arranged in 2006, I was really moved by the experience of creating, perfecting, then seeing the light in the students' eyes as they experienced this process of creation.
As we learned and polished this song, this time around, I was constantly moved and inspired by the following five words; See, Hear, Know, Light, Listen. We discussed what these words meant to us. The word, “listen,” has moved me the most. It is so important to “listen” to ourselves, others, and to Him. In our Spirit of Christmas Concert, last week, I was deeply moved by the students' dedication to the song which was both felt and seen by all in attendance. There was a delayed response from the audience which is a huge compliment. There was a reverent atmosphere felt by all.
I am very grateful for these lyrics, for recording the Organ with Larry, for many students helping decorate and undecorate, etc. Most of all, I am so grateful for these students that care, dream, love and listen.
THANK YOU
Thank you so much for watching! We hope you enjoyed the video!
This was fun to put together and the students loved every step of the process. We were blessed to be able to use this venue as it provided such a warm and festive atmosphere for this video production.
We would like to give a huge thanks to those who helped produce this monumental video.
