I always thought this was an Eagles/Don Henley tune but, like a lot of my favorites, it turns out to be a cover. It was originally released in 1960 by co-writer Charles Brown. It has since been covered by many, many artists. One of my favorites now is Aaron Neville's version!! Researching this tune reminded me of something I used to tell my band mates that I'd much rather cover a great song than do a mediocre original. Well, this is my Christmas song cover & I hope you enjoy it & have a Very Happy Christmas & a Joyous New Year!!!!
