I made most of this remix on Walpurgis Night which is a big traditional time of the year here in Sweden when we celebrate the inevitable springtime. Late after midnight I thought it was finished, but today (publish date) I realized I forgot that pitching note in the intro. But here it is!

Always thought this was the most beautiful theme of DKC2, could listen to it for hours back in the days. The atmosphere and vibes it builds in me is very special and nostalgic.

I made this completely from scratch (as usual) but tried to keep close to the original. My lead synth is well used and the piano from the original is replaced with a very 1980s plucked synth with a slow chorus and heavy reverb.

The artwork is by an unknown digital artist. I couldn't find the name for the credit here. If anyone knows it, please give me a shout!
