Dr. Leston Paul
Dr. Leston Paul is a musical arranger, producer, composer and keyboardist from Trinidad and Tobago. He is one of the most in-demand music producers and arrangers in the Caribbean.
In 1983 Leston Paul recorded his debut album, ‘The Arrival.’ This album is rare and a definite collector’s item. While he started on the road to being one of the Caribbean’s most sort after arrangers, and producers, Leston produced his next album ‘Keys To The City’ in 1987. The track ‘Everyday Life’ is still very popular with DJs and electronic music enthusiasts.
Between the years 1985 until Lord Kitchener's passing in 2000, Leston Paul produced and arranged all of Kitchener’s albums (except the album Bees Melody).
Leston has produced more than twenty thousand recordings as well as arranged and produced over 3000 songs. In 2016, at the Trinidad and Tobago National Independence Awards, Leston was awarded the nation’s second highest award – “The Chaconia.”
