Kumu Hula Malina Kaulukukui taught us this beautiful hula written and recorded by Uluwehi Guerrero at 'Ohana Retreat 2009 held on the UCI campus. It is a mele that compares maile to a lover. I was thrilled by her song selection since I had just received a makana la hanau from T...a maile and mokihana lei.
