Echoes Talking is one of the most interesting comps I've gotten to make. The idea of WAR as a project in of itself is so cool -- Kanye and James Blake creating a full length album of downtrodden electronic songs with rich samples -- and I've always wanted to execute it in a way that would work. The first ET was, despite being a stepping stone towards YESUKE, kinda terrible (bad extracts, bad pacing, weird verse choices, etc). Since the release of it about a year ago today, I've really wanted to execute it in a way that I'm proud of. In contrast with the relatively scaled back amount of people who worked on ET (basically just 4 main devs if I recall), this time around I've been blessed with an incredible team who have helped me make this the best comp possible. This is basically a director's cut to v1: all the dials turned up and all the original ideas turned to the maximum, almost exactly the way I envisioned it.
Special thanks to car0line, metalfaceterrorist, m3lt, ali, hc, ahmed 2.0 and mega for helping me execute this vision that I've been working on for a year and a half.

I do not support any of Kanye West's recent actions or claims. I make these edits because I want to make a version of his career that I can be proud of listening to, and with every shitty thing he does I find more and more of a reason to keep going. I want to make a version of his discography that not only I can listen to without guilt, but you can too.
