I've met Emily Nenni quite a few times over the past 10 years, as we both reside in Nashville, TN. She is a frequent guest at Santa's Pub on Sundays, singing both incredible karaoke numbers and covers with the Ice Cold Pickers band. It always a pleasure to hang with or hear her sing, and i'm not sure why it took so long, but we finally go together halfway across the country in Pendleton, Oregon. We were both there for the Jackalope Jamboree, that wonderful time of year in one of the largest rodeos in the world.

She is joined by more great Nashville musicians, Teddy and the Rough Riders, here singing backup on the track, and we're seated in Pendleton's historic rodeo.

Folks, I don't go to many festivals anymore, but I can't recommend the Jamboree enough. If you're West coast, it's a must see, and if you're not, well, it might be worth a vacation for next year.
I'll have more from the Jamboree coming out later. Hope you enjoy this first bit from my time there this summer. Check them out, and if you're in the area (or even if you're not), next year you should go.
