Description
Little Drummer Boy is a terrific bit of songwriting. My impression is that its never quite gotten the respect it deserves, perhaps because its never had a definitive interpretation.
This version is by My Sweetheart Emmylou™. I would love it if someone would take this simple tale of humility in the face of the divine and knock it out of the park. I dont think Emmylou quite gets there, but she comes as close as anyone has so far as I know.
