Description
With this melodic trilogy, the Trinitarian form appears for the first time. Satie will use these three-pieces collections throughout his whole life. Also, the composer plunges us into the atmosphere that characterizes the music of his first period (Sarabandes, Gymnopédies, etc.) with its « whiteness », its smooth harmonies using sevenths and ninths, and his imperturbable pace.
