Description
On 23rd May 2016, a panel of medical students and scientists of the University of Lausanne will be honoured to debate about the fundamental question of ethics, and more specifically secular ethic, together with his Holiness the 17th Karmapa.
This discussion, which is organized in the frame of the course on medical ethics for the students in their first year of medical studies at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine, follows up a one day colloquium in march 2013, when scientists of the UNIL had the privilege to address the fundamental humanistic issues of «aging and dying in peace» with his Holiness the Dalai Lama.
As it was not possible to make this debate a widely accessible one, the course will be broadcasted in live web streaming on the UNIL website.
