枫桥夜泊 (Fēng Qiáo Yè Bó, Night mooring by the Maple Bridge)
月落乌啼霜满天，
yuè luò wū tí shuāng mǎn tiān
The moon has set, the crows keep crying, the autumn frost is full of sky,
江枫渔火对愁眠。
jiāng fēng yú huǒ duì chóu mián
The maple trees are leaning by the river. The lights are shining on the fishing boat. All is leaving me alone to go to sleep.
姑苏城外寒山寺，
gū sū chéng wài hán shān sì
There is a lonely and quiet Hanshan temple located outside Gusu city,
夜半钟声到客船。
yè bàn zhōng shēng dào kè chuán
The bell of the Temple is ringing in the middle of the night. The bell sound is reaching to my boat, a visitor’s boat.
