0:25 - Is the First Home Owner's Grant still available in Victoria in 2019? It certainly is. The first home owner's grant is alive and well in Victoria till 30th June 2020.

1) How much do I get
- $10,000 in Melbourne Metro
- $20,000 in Regional Victoria

2) The criteria for getting it are pretty straight forward.
- You must be over 18yo
- You must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident (NZ'ers may also be eligible - watch video for more info)
- You must live in the house for 12 months
- House must be brand new

3) What about Stamp Duty?
First Home Owners get some serious concessions
- Homes under $600,000 : Stamp Duty is waived altogether
- Homes between $600,000 - $750,000: Reduced Stamp Duty
