Description
Frédéric François Chopin (1810–1849) composed his Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 65, in 1846, one of his last major works. The third movement, Largo, is an intimate and lyrical dialogue between cello and piano. This performance features Alfred Cortot’s arrangement for solo piano.
Partly sight-read, this recording was inspired by recent emotional turmoil in my personal life over the past couple of weeks.
